Happy 4th of July
Happy Fourth yall...
We spent yesterday evening at the Shoemakers and had a nice time. Today we 'prepared' all morning and this evening we exploded!! Ben LOVES fireworks -- takes after his daddy. He even did the Tom Carter tantrum... but in the tune of "need more fountains" (instead of cake)-- it was too funny..
For supper - We made Ribs, Hashbrown casserole (loy's recipe), beans (randy's), salad, melons, stupid yummy Brickle cookies (from down south), and what Fourth of July would be complete without Apple pie...
Ben did not actually light any fireworks.. but he made sure we had the next ones to burn.
Before anyone says anything --- yes we know his hair is crazy long -- we are going this week to have it trimmed..

ROTFLMAO! I was just saying to Pete in the other room..."Ben's hair is LONG!....and then I scrolled to the bottom of the blog. Too funny! You guys look great --picnic sounds awesome, wish we could have shared it with you.
Funny, I just made the same hair comment to Hank before scrolling down. Great pic of you guys. Looks like a great 4th party. We had fun too. Blew up lots of explosives - ate dogs and watermelon and apple pie :) See yall soon!
