THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OMAHA/VALLEY HAS ISSUED A BLIZZARD WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON. THE WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
SNOW...OCCASIONALLY HEAVY...WILL CONTINUE OVER THE AREA INTO THIS AFTERNOON. NORTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 40 MPH WILL CREATE BLIZZARD CONDITIONS WITH OCCASIONAL WHITE OUTS. SNOWFALL WILL VARY FROM 8 TO 12 INCHES FROM AROUND FREMONT... WAHOO INTO WEST OMAHA TO 4 TO 10 INCHES FROM SOUTHWEST IOWA TOWARD EASTERN SECTIONS OF OMAHA.

Hmmm.. you get blizzards and we get tornados... I think I'd wrather have the snow. We're under a tornado watch till 9:00 tonight. Yipee. Glad we don't live in a trailer. Take some snow pics!!
